Held at the same time as the Tokyo International Bookfair (Tokyo Big Sight)

Sharp's topic was "Taking e-books to the next stage with 3D LC" and they exhibited the concept at
the Digital Publishing Fair of "making 3D LC e-books more widespread."
The Sharp booth exhibited e-book related devices on the theme of "the new shape of reading on the move." The themes included "taking 3D LC e-books to the next stage" and they showed the image that 3D expression will help new possibilities to expand throughout the publishing world.
For the demonstration, photos of Shogakkan's (Consortium member) Super Nipponika 2003 (Japanese encyclopedia and Japanese dictionary) was provided, converted to 3D by Mercury Sunday (member of the 3D Consortium) and displayed as slides on Sharp's 3D display.
Leaflets were distributed in the exhibition corner and the activities of the Consortium introduced.
