Kyoto Governor Mr. Yamada referred to 3D technology and expressed his expectation of the technology.

The Kyoto Prefectural Office held the Commemorative Ceremony for Establishment of the Kyoto Digital SOSUI Network on November 25th, where a number of member companies of the 3D Consortium participated as exhibitors in the exhibition venue. The Digital SOSUI Network, which has been created based on the New Kyoto Prefectural Comprehensive Plan, aims at the active communication of information in the areas of education, academic research, government services, healthcare, welfare and disaster prevention. Kyoto Governor Yamada's comment at the ceremony to express his expectation of 3D technology paved the way toward the practical use of the technology.
