The 3D Consortium continued its exhibitions with a booth at ACM SIGGRAPH 2010 which is a world class image and graphics related event. Last year, the exhibition seemed to have a rather quiet atmosphere compared to previous years due to geographical factors since it was organized in New Orleans and also due to external factors such as it being held after the Lehman Shock. This year, the venue returned to Los Angeles which is one of the centers of the image industry, and there were expectations that it would have a more prosperous mood than that of last year; however, the reported number of exhibitors and visitors was not much larger than last year which led us to have the impression that we cannot have an optimistic outlook on our economic situation. However, still, the enthusiastic atmosphere among exhibitors and visitors at the exhibition was not changed; especially, we strongly felt that the entire image industry mainly around 3D movies regained its momentum. Three member companies exhibited at the booth of the 3D Consortium. They demonstrated their products and technologies. The exhibition will be organized in Vancouver in Canada next year; it will be the first time for the exhibition to be held outside of the United States.
