"SIGGRAPH" is a world-class computer graphics event which has annually been organized by ACM. It attracts attention from all over the world as a place for presentation of digital video in the fields of art and entertainment and also as a place for presentations of technical and academic papers representing various research outcomes concerning the latest digital video technologies and methods for expression. In addition, various types of research, products and works concerning interactive technologies are introduced there which serves to widen the ranges it covers into a variety of expressions by using digital content. This year, many spaces were used exclusively for exhibition of 3D related items at the venue and these spaces were in a lively atmosphere with many visitors which represented the recent 3D boom. We continued our participation in the exhibition by securing a booth and jointly exhibited with three member companies. We also introduced activities of the 3D Consortium to appeal to persons from other countries who are involved with computer graphics.
