The Study Session was jointly organized by the Services/Contents Section and the Technical Section at the Elm Hall of Sharp's Ichigaya Building on May 27.
"Web3D" was used as a theme for the study session. A lecture and demonstration about the collaborative research "Web3D stereoscopic viewers" between members of the 3D Consortium, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. and Kanagawa Institute of Technology were held as well as lectures about the "3DWeb Cruising System - InfoLead" and "3D functions and PDF specifications of Adobe Acrobat 7.0" by NTT Software Corporation.
There were reports about "A Joint Meeting on 3D Technology," and "3D related exhibition at the Aichi Expo."
There were 30 members at the study session for a total of 48 people attending.
