Report on the 3D Consortium Study Session jointly organized by the Amusement WG and the Technology Investigation WG of the Technical Section

The Study Session was jointly organized by the Amusement WG and Technology Investigation WG at the SGI Hall in the Yebisu Garden Place Tower on July 20.
The theme was "Universe, Nature and Stereoscopic Images." Introduction of outlines of the "4-Dimensional Digital Universe (4D2U) Project," which has been worked on by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan; stereoscopic images and systems exhibited at EXPO 2005 AICHI JAPAN - "Fantasy Theater" by Brother Industries Ltd.; "Geo Space" by Netplus; and introduction and demonstration of the "Planting Game Project," linked with a satellite image viewer were held.
There were 30 members at the study session for a total of 51 people attending.
