The organization of the "3D Consortium 2014 General Meeting, Keynote lectures and an exhibition with demonstrations"

The 3D Consortium organized the 2014 General Meeting at a conference room of the Japan Education Center (Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku). After the General Meeting, a lecture commemorating the General Meeting was organized at the same venue.


General Meeting
The General Meeting was officially established by confirming the absolute majority with 17 members attending and 10 absent members submitting letters of proxy which consisted of 27 members out of a total of 33 members. After due deliberation, all the agenda items were approved as is.

"Naked eye 3D business at the starting line"

The situation concerning naked eye 3D business has leveled off for a while since the introduction of 3D TV with glasses. During the period, an environment for naked eye 3D related hardware has been developed and conditions for forming a market have also been developed. The background around the situation and formation of the naked eye 3D market in the future as well as the outline of the naked eye 3D technology developed by Philips and Dolby 3D contents solution will be introduced.
