Mr. Niitsu, lecturing on the X3D OpenGL Enhancer developed by X3D Technologies, which offers autostereoscopic 3D images without glasses.

The study session was held under the themes offered by the Technical Section and the Services/Contents Section. The themes of their discussions were "Trends of the latest 3D display," "Trends of the latest contents," and "Trends of other consortiums." At the section meeting organized jointly by the two sections following the study session, section leaders reported on their activities this year, and explained about the themes handled by working groups and the orientation of their activities. The number of attendees at the study session was 43 member companies (67 persons) and 37 member companies (60 persons) at the section meeting.
